Version 2026-09-25.1

Support Aura Terms

The short version: be honest, be decent, and you decide when you're recommended to people.

These are draft terms for the pilot. They will be replaced with reviewed terms before Support Aura opens to everyone, and we'll ask you to accept the new version when that happens.

What Support Aura does

Support Aura suggests people and businesses who may be able to help with what someone describes, and helps both sides agree, pay and finish the work. We are not the person doing the work, and we don't employ them.

What we ask of you

Give honest details about yourself and what you offer, keep them up to date, and only offer work you are allowed and able to do. Treat other people on Support Aura with respect.

Being recommended

Finishing your profile and accepting these terms lets us recommend you. Being recommended is not a promise of work, and we may stop recommending an account that breaks these terms.

Being verified

Being ready to be matched is not the same as being verified. When we verify something, we say exactly what we confirmed. We never promise that anyone's work will be good.

Your information

We keep what you give us to run Support Aura: your profile, what you offer, and how you'd like to be reached. Your full name, phone number and email stay private until you agree to work with someone.

Ratings

After a job is paid for and the money reaches the person who did it, you and they can each rate the other. Ratings are public: they appear on that person's page and wherever they are suggested, alongside the name you go by, what the job was, and anything you wrote. Neither of you sees the other's until both are in or seven days have passed, and after seven days the job closes for rating. We don't remove a rating for being unflattering, and we may remove one that breaks these terms.

Money

Prices are between you and the other person. Where Support Aura handles payment, the fees and timing are shown before anyone agrees to anything.

Ending this

You can stop being matched at any time, and you can ask us to close your account. We may suspend an account that puts other people at risk, and we'll say why.

Questions about any of this? Write to help@supportaura.ca and we'll explain in plain words. We answer within two working days.
